Gleam rock is a style of rock and pop music which was created in the UK in the early 70s. It was also know as glitter rock because of the types of outfits that the singer wore. After the 1976 the popularity of the Glam Rock genre started to decline. This was mainly due to the sub genres that's glam rock created. It influenced the start of Punk, glam metal and other genres.
