Construction - Reflection - Editing

Throughout the whole editing process we have gone through a vast amount of editing techniques and different editing concepts. We have been able to create a music video by incorporating these different techniques to match and create the music video.

Firstly we made sure that we organised all of our clips according to the different days that we filmed. This allowed us to be able to get the exact clips that we need for the editing.

While editing we made sure that the Aaron was rapping so we could hear it in the clip while editing. This allowed us to be able to easily match up the audio and the actual video. Along with this we cut out some if the bad clips where they might be a big pause. This allowed us to make the rapping flow more smoothly.

In terms of effects we have done:
Contrasting effects
Black and white
Green screens

Construction - Reflection - Third Day Of Filming

Third day of filming we managed to get a lot of fillers done and had completed two full verses. Are organisation had improved this time round as we already preplanned where and what we are going to film. We managed to find a spot close to a lake to make it look like an exotic location. It adds more attraction to our video because all of the locations are different.  Furthermore, the filler shots we got done were improvised by group members on the day and the ideas came off and we managed to integrate them into our music video. We are now half way through are music video at this early stage and because of how well the group are working together hopefully we will be able to finish the music video within the next two weeks.

Construction - Reflection - General

Currently we have have three exceptionally good days of filming. This has allowed us to be able to always have something to edit while we are doing work in class. We have been getting all the clips in order and figuring out what to put in for the gaps that we may have. As a group in general we have been doping really good. We have get everything planned out and we all know what we are doing.

The cast members that we got to be In our music video are also helping out tremendously. They are always there if we need them and they normally don't have anything that my collide with the time of the music video.

Furthermore going away from filming we have been trying to get all the blogs done quickly so we can get more time to film. Currently we have give. Different blogs to different members of the group. This has allowed us to spread the workload between all if us and this will help get the blogs and other parts done quickly.

Lastly we thought abou getting Arron to actually be the person rapping instead of dubbing the other rappers voice over. It looks a lot better when Arron raps other then the other person.

Construction - Reflection - Second Day Of Filming

The second day if filming lasted a very long time as we planned to get a lot of different shots done before we finished. We walked around for a few minutes going around different areas to different locations around our area, trying to see how all the shots would look.

We first went to the park, since that was where we filmed on day one. We walked further down the path way untill we found a good spot to film the chorus. We have two other members who were willing to be in the music video. One of them was going to sing the chorus. We made sure that we rook different shots at differ net angles so we could incorporate it later when we were editing. The shots came out very good and we didn't have to take too many shots before we finished.

After this section of the music video Aaron got some of his friends to help with the next part of the music video. We went down to a narrow pathway where we could get Aaron to rap with his "boys".

Here we added different angles to our shots. He got a low angle shot of Arron rapping while his friends were in the back dancing/nodding their heads. This made it seem like he was in the "hood" and helped match what the music video was saying.

We had really good actors who were determined to stay untill we had all the shots finished. We didn't get a couple mistakes where the shots where out of sync of the music being playing and the rapper forgot one of the lines. However this was all sorted out quickly and we finished this section quickly.

Construction - Reflection - First Day Of Filming

Looking back on our first day of filming I can conclude that it was very successful. The whole group cooperated well as a team and we're all committed to filming that day. We managed to get a good amount of footage to work with. We used our time well and left early to get to our first location to gather our shots. The master catalogue benefited us in this situation as we remembered all the props we need in order to get the best of the shot. In addition, we managed to film a good variation of shots including low angle shots and 360 shots. These shots will hopefully make our music video more enjoyable to watch.

Construction - Reflection - Website

After a few days of filming we started to slowly gather the different shots from our music video to use for the website. We needed some pictures to use for the gallery on the page. This will help provide our audience with an insight into how D-Rail go though his life and the way he would dress. This further helps people to relate to that artist and see that he is like everyone else. The website is fully finished and the only thing left is to put these pictures up.

For this day of filming we went through to do the coures of the music video. This allowed us to be able to get the main parts of the film done before we continued with the rest of the music video.

The filming for This day went reasonable well. We didn't have too many mistakes and the clips were done in one or two takes. We were able to get the music and the rappers lips in line because we have the music playing in the back ground. At the same time we gone the person to also sing so when we were eding the video we can see exactly what is being said.
